Come on in. Kick off your shoes, not because I care about the carpet - I don't. I just want you to get really comfortable. Let's chat, but can we be real?? No fakes allowed! Welcome to my new blog. I am working on a production entitled The Butterfly MasKarade. I spent years of my life wearing all kind of masks for all kinds reasons. That is exhausting, let me just tell you now. So, the production is a reflection on things I learned behind those masks. And things I learn today without the masks. This blog will be a place you can come in a be totally YOU. The YOU God designed, not the world. I will write about life, love, and other stuff, but in an authentic tone. I hope to make you laugh, but I bet there will be times when we both cry. As long as we are always learning to be US then we can feel anyway we feel. Psalm 139: ^13-16 (The Message) Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day. Now, seriously, kick off those shoes - they look painful anyway. Grab a cup o joe and let's be real. Oh, and by the way - I am not knocking pink hair!! Truth be told, I've probably had pink hair at one time or another. Wait a minute! Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I ever tried that color, hmmm.
